Every deck is built on a structural frame designed to outlast the decking on top of it. That frame is backed by our Lifetime Structural Warranty, for as long as you own and live in your home.
Decking boards, railings, and finishes are wear items. Sun, snow, and decades of foot traffic take their toll, and every deck surface eventually gets refreshed or replaced. That’s normal, and it’s why those parts aren’t what this warranty covers.
The frame underneath is different. That’s the part Dupont engineers to last: high-quality lumber, premium fasteners, and construction built to carry the load for decades. If a workmanship defect ever shows up in that structural frame, we repair it at no cost to you, for the lifetime of the deck at your home.
WHAT’S COVERED
Workmanship of the structural frame: joists, beams, and 6×6 vertical support posts.
WHAT’S NOT COVERED
Footings, materials covered by manufacturer warranties, environmental damage, decking, and railings.
WHO’S COVERED
Original homeowner, for the lifetime of the deck at the original property. Non-transferable.
